Poland as one of the stars of MIPiM 2007 Next year’s special edition of the fair will be dedicated to our part of Europe!

According to the Ernst & Young company, Poland is one of the five most attractive investment markets in the world.
The report that was published during the largest European real estate fair in Cannes was a result of research conducted on a group of over a thousand representatives of managerial staff from several European countries. The “top five” of the list of the most attractive countries of the world as regards investment includes two countries of the Old Continent – Germany (third position) and Poland (fifth position) – the United States, China and India. The investment offer of Katowice attracted a lot of attention. During the panel discussion entitled “Key investment locations of the future” Douglas Clark, Director of the Techlocate consulting company, called the Silesian capital one of the most prospective cities of Europe.

Gazeta Wyborcza w Katowicach reports that the project to redevelop the city centre of Katowice aroused the interest of developers and significant financial institutions. Piotr Uszok, Mayor of Katowice, talked with numerous tycoons from the middle East and developer companies such as Apsys, which realized Manufaktura in Łódź, Frankonia and Multi Development. The stand was visited by consulting companies, e.g. by INVI, which takes part in creating Miasteczko Wilanów, and by financial institutions. Daniel Libeskind, an architect who promoted his new projects at the fair, also expressed his interest in the capital of Silesia.
