Silesia – leader in comfort of living
According to the recent analysis of the journalists of
Rzeczpospolita, the residents of Silesia can boast about
the highest standard of living among all Polish regions. It is a result of both
strong industry and the still growing interest in the Silesian Agglomeration on
the part of Polish and foreign investors.
As the journal research showed, last year turned out
to be especially good for the Silesians.
The fastest growing salaries, which at the end of November exceeded PLN 3.900 (only PLN 76 less than in Mazovia), as well as the falling rate of unemployment are just some of the factors which made the Silesian Province rank first on the list.
The report of the Institute for Market Economics, which has been used by the journalists
of Rzeczpospolita, says that Silesia is also one of the four regions offering the best development conditions to the investors, which at the same time influences the present and potential jobs for inhabitants of the region.
