Economic Forum "Positive Image of the Region as a Source of Success of Silesian Companies"

This event was organised as part of the jubilee "X Forum for Small and Small-sized Entrepreneurs" on the initiative of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice and the K. Godula Upper Silesian Academy of Entrepreneurship in Chorzów, under the patronage of the Marshal of the Silesian Province.

The Forum was related to the influence of the image of the region on the economic life. Local and regional leaders as well as representatives of business and self-government circles presented their visions, which should lead to a systematic dialogue concerning the ways of conducting regional lobbing aiming at creating a uniform image of the region.

The Forum was addressed to everyone interested in creating a positive image of our province, particularly to company representatives and regional and local self-government authorities. The panellists included Marek Wollnik – Managing Director of Metropolis Commercial Real Estate – who briefly described the current investment processes in the region, discussed investors’ interest and showed the advantages and disadvantages of the real estate offer of individual cities. The Forum turned out to be a great chance for authorities, regional marketing experts and people interested in shaping a positive image of the Silesian Agglomeration to exchange their views.
