Supercomfort on Silesian railway tracks

For the purchase of four carriages of Flirt type, the Marshal’s Office designated the amount of 90 million zloty and then leased them to the railways. The Stadler company, which has already sold 335 Flirts worldwide, has produced the first train for the Silesians. Soon it will start test drives. The carriage painted Silesian colours will be tested probably between Siedlce and Poznań.

Flirt is a Fast Light Innovative Regional Train. It provides passengers with a high degree of comfort, is entirely air-conditioned and equipped with comfortable seats. The carriage is 74 metres long and can transport 500 people. For the safety of passengers, rotary cameras and fire detectors have been installed in the ceiling, and the whole train has been designed in such a way that there are no corners and narrow passages.
