Metropolis in Business Centre Club

The first opportunity to present itself among the members of the club came at the Media Picnic in Promienice held on 24th August where Metropolis played a role of the Main Patron. The panel discussion on the strategy of Silesia development was conducted by:
- Tomasz Raczyński, President of Expo Distributor,
- Grzegorz Pędras, President of Secus brokerage and
- Katarzyna Szyndlar, Investment Director in Metropolis Commercial Real Estate.
The panelists discussed the investment attractiveness of the Silesian Agglomeration and they wondered whether Silesia could be sexy. Also the issues concerning changes on the real estate market in the recent years as well as predictions for 2008 – 2009 have been raised. Two hundred journalists have been invited for the press conference. Then, the participants of the picnic could relax while listening to a jazz concert.

The objectives and tasks of Katowice Branch are to refer employers’ business to the local authorities, other employers’ organizations and trade unions, as well as to organize training, economic consultancy, popularization of market economy principles, propagation of ethics in business activity and integration of entrepreneurs.
