Russians visit Silesia
According to Gazeta Wyborcza, our region is going to be visited by representatives of 70 Russian tour agencies. Their visit is a part of a Polish-Russian Tourist Forum, which will last till Tuesday. The date is connected with the approaching winter season.
The number of Russian tourists in our region is growing all the time. They are wealthy customers interested in high standard services. If they come to Poland, it will be because they want to rest in our best hotels and SPA centres.
Besides Beskidy, the guests will see the industrial side of the region. The Russian tour operators will visit Guido Historic Coal Mine in Zabrze and Tychy Brewing Museum, belonging to the Industrial Monuments Route of the Silesian Voivodeship, the only route of this kind in Europe.
The Forum is organised by the Silesian and Polish Tourist Organisation and the Marshal Office.
