EXPO REAL 2007 already behind us

The 10th edition of International Commercial Property Exposition EXPO REAL ended last week in Munich. It was visited by representatives of 1800 companies from 43 countries. A record-breaking dimension of the event required huge space – the meetings took place in six halls with a total area of 63,000 square meters.
The participation of Metropolis Commercial Real Estate representatives in EXPO REAL was connected above all with the promotion of investment projects located in Silesia. Contacts with the representatives of foreign investment companies aimed at presenting tremendous potential of the projects prepared in the biggest cities of Silesian Agglomeration by Metropolis specialists.

The international fair is an ideal opportunity to evaluate changes on the real estate market and to define the expectations of the the biggest representative of the investment sector towards potential business partners. EXPO REAL confirms the observations gained at spring MIPiM fair in Cannes. The interest in our region is growing among Western European investors, who are interested above all in big projects exceeding €10 million. Also developer companies talk willingly about significant projects where houses and flats are only a part of a bigger whole – of new projects of urban districts. EXPO REAL is also a great chance to meet experts who take up a challenge of rebuilding city centres. In several Polish cities, among others in Katowice and Łódź, similar projects wait for implementation.

Rapid development of REAL EXPO gives hope that more and more significant part of the discussed projects will concern Polish regions which are already assessed to be exceptionally prospective.
