The building of old railway station in Katowice has been sold!

The auction did not last long because only one company joined in the bidding. The building, with the surface area of 8,000 square meters, is located in the very centre of the city. The tender was announced several weeks ago.

The old railway station is said to house galleries, boutiques and pubs in the future. “This will be the place for those, who now escape to Kraków in order to spend a nice evening” says Mr Koźmiński. It is the architects turn to get down to work. The construction works will commence at earliest in spring 2009. The cost of modernization is estimated at over PLN 100 million.
