Two towers in Katowice
Silesia Office Towers, as they have been called, will overlook the city. They differ in height
and colour. The bigger, 34-storey tower will be 125 m high. It will be higher than the current record holder – Altus. The lower tower will have 15 storeys and will be 55 m high. The higher glass tower will be covered with black truss, the lower one with white.
The project of the skyscrapers is being created in the prestigious Kuryłowicz & Associates Architectural Office. Its head, architect Stefan Kuryłowicz, uses state-of-the-art technologies
in his buildings. He is the author of many famous skyscrapers in Warsaw, including Focus Filtrowa and the ethereal building of the Polish Airlines Lot.
The towers will be erected in place of the "Dębianka" Allotments and they will be separated from the shopping gallery by the entrance to SCC. There will be an elegant square between
the office buildings. The towers will be connected with other areas of the centre by green avenues.
