The most modern interchange in Katowice
Today, it is one of the worst places on the A4 motorway in Katowice. Traffic jams are common there, because the vehicle entrances and exits behind the "Trzy Stawy" Shopping Centre are used by drivers traveling A4 both in the direction of Bielsko and Sosnowiec.
With the redevelopment of the vehicle entrances and exits at Górnośląska Avenue,
a two-lane access road of 0.4 km (with a bus bay and pavements) in the area
of the Francuska interchange and southern access road from the exit to "Trzy Stawy"
(to the end of the overbridge by Trzy Stawy Street) are going to be built. The access road from the Murckowska interchange to the petrol station next to Praktiker is going to be built as well. All the investments are going to cost PLN 290 million.
